Based in Athens, designer of Motley Eyewear, Fani Gavala says:
“I love wearing sunglasses. I believe that they are much more than an everyday accessory. They are a fashion statement, a canvas for self-expression. That is why I started designing them.
Having worked as a CRM manager for over 15 years at the Greek branch of a multinational company in the eyewear industry, I have come across many customers and stylists who were constantly seeking something more than just a plain pair of shades. That never ending search for the holy grail of sunglasses motivated me, once, to give a stylish touch to an old pair of shades I loved to wear.
It was this first creation which showed me that style, quality and self-expression could be combined. Since then I have never stopped experimenting on new designs and learning new craft skills that help me expand my creativity.
Motley Eyewear is my effort to share with people the feeling of being special, by offering unique fashion statements to wear in the everyday life.”
